Dina Goldstein’s project named, “Fallen Princesses” takes fairy tale characters and puts them into realistic outcomes of their stories. I like that prince charming is watching polo on the television.  If Dina had photographed Humpty Dumpty’s realistic ending it would look similarly to my breakfast.

I’ve seen a lot of stop-motion animations.  This one is interesting because it uses a chalkboard as its canvas. I can only imagine how many photographs it took to make this.

This product was created in my Flexible Packaging class. Our assignment was to create 6 homeopathic products and to unite them in some way.

I’m not a huge fan in homeopathic products so I changed it to vitamins instead. Part of the definition of Koan (which the name was assigned to us) is the building of your body, so with that I made the packaging in the form of tetris/puzzle pieces. When you add all the packages together you get the whole Koan.

This was fun to make but very challenging and the dieline for it was too large and complicated.

This project was a part of my Advanced Packaging class last semester that I just got back.

Our project brief was to create branding for a street vendor in NYC and all of the packaging that goes along with it.

I created the brand ME HUNGRY that targets business men in the financial district. Business men in their nature can be primal and that’s why the only item sold at ME HUNGRY would be steaks. Instead of using silverware, because that’s too civilized, the customer is supplied with two bone shaped skewers to help you eat the steak.

I enjoyed including taglines to go along with the brand, for example “ME GOT PROMOTED. ME GOT STEAK.” and “STOCKS GO UP. ME DESSERVE STEAK.”

In summary, ME ENJOY STEAK, ME ENJOY THIS PROJECT.
