A step above Microsoft Paint…

or as it’s known to its faithful followers, MSP.

Sumo Paint, is clearly a knock-off of Photoshop, but it gets the job done in a different way. Instead of paying over 600 dollars for the program you can use Sumo’s web app (program in the browser) for free online. It’s is a nice solution if you are at a computer without Photoshop and need to do a few touch ups, or image resizing.

There are a few downsides to this though, one being that it takes longer to carry out actions since its a browser based program, another being you need internet to run it, and it’s missing a few components that Photoshop has.

Overall this is an interesting web app that might be useful. What’s your excuse for still using MSP now?
